When he first came here he didn't get along with the other fosters or the resident Cairns . He was - and I emphasize 'was' - very dominant, definitely trying to be the alpha dog. He is making great progress with his position in our group. He still takes off running with the toys he originally wouldn't let anyone near, but it's only to get the others chasing him in play. That's his favorite game: Catch me if you can! He enjoys playing with the 'girls'. But at times he has to be reminded not so rough. My resident male and he are still competing for position. I'm working with both of them for this. Miami has a very puppy-like personality. But he does not chew or destroy anything like a puppy might. He is potty trained! He enjoys the out of doors, but does not dig holes or get in my flowerbeds.
